Happy Anniversary!

Today marks 1 year since Joseph and I got married!  I feel so fortunate and so blessed that I am married to my best friend and a great Christian husband.  I guess technically we are no longer newlyweds anymore, but I still feel like we are!  I still get those butterflies in my stomach every time I see him after one of us has been gone.  I still hate leaving him for the weekend and the nights that he is at work are my least favorite.  But, is so nice to come home 3 days a week and have him already home.  This first year just has been so amazing.  I honestly do not know how the next 70 can top it, but I am sure they will!  We have our ups and downs just like any couple, but with God in control we know we can make it through anything life throws at us! So Joseph, I love you very much and I am looking forward to celebrating with you tomorrow night! I can't wait to see what year two holds for us!

3 months in

I should have know when I began a new blog about Joseph and me that I wouldn't actually keep up with it, but I mean too all the time! Once I get pictures put on the computer I will update on a few things we have done. For now though, I will just give you a general update!
We moved in right around three months ago.  It definitely has been a different experience.  This is not how I pictured things going in my life, but I know it is what is right! It took what seemed like forever to get the apartment completely packed up and cleaned.  Part of me thinks that the reason for that was because I wasn't ready to let go.  I lived in that apartment for two years, and spent almost the entire first year of my marriage in it with Joseph.  The day that I turned the keys in to the apartment complex was a very tough day. Many tears have been shed since then, and I am sure that more will be.  However, my in-laws have been nothing but kind and gracious towards us.  We have two rooms and plenty of our own space.  We are working on getting our den area very organized, so I don't have pictures of it yet, but I will! I am so thankful for the opportunity to live here and save money for a future home that is absolutely perfect and one that we will not have to settle for!
Being married is absolutely amazing.  Joseph is finally done with school (for now) so he is only gone for two nights a week as opposed to the 4-5 that he had been having to go out!  We appreciate any and all prayers for him as his registry test is quickly approaching sometime in February.
I will do blog posts in a few days about our beach trip and Christmas - and then coming up in less than a week - Our One year anniversary!
